The Garrett AT MAX Metal Detector a great all purpose metal detector and will find you all the treasure you will ever need. This machine is particularly suited for relic hunting but can also be custom set to any discrimination setting you like. The Iron Audio function allows you to quickly sweep an area for any targets you had been discriminating against to make sure you don’t miss anything but it can also be used with the All Metal mode to introduce a lower tone along with the normal mid-tone of ferrous objects to help you tell what kind of iron you may be about to dig up. The Tone Roll Audio allows you to listen as the audio modulates over each target to give you more information about what is underground. If you add in a AT Pro-Pointer pinpointer you can even get down in the dirt to find that silver coin or ring and still hear the signal through your included MS-3 wireless headphones.

This detector is waterproof up to 10ft, however you will need a separate pair of Garrett submersible headphones if you want to submerge the control box completely or dive with it. This is ready to hit the beach or your local lake shore to scan the shallows right out of the box. The high resolution ground balance of the AT Max makes it perfect for highly mineralized areas or even saltwater.
